Numerical modeling of generalized nonlinear system arising in thermoelasticity
In this paper, the Adomian decomposition method (ADM) is presented for finding numerical solution of fractional nonlinear system arising in thermoelasticity. The derivatives are understood in the Caputo sense. The reason of using fractional order differential equations (FOD) is that FOD are naturally related to systems with memory which exists in most biological systems. Also they are closely r...
متن کاملMathematical modeling of volumetric material growth in thermoelasticity
Growth (resp. atrophy) describes the physical processes by which a material of solid body increases (resp. decreases) its size by addition (resp. removal) of mass. In the present contribution, we propose a sound mathematical analysis of growth, relying on the decomposition of the geometric deformation tensor into the product of a growth tensor describing the local addition of material and an el...
متن کاملOn (non-)exponential decay in generalized thermoelasticity with two temperatures
We study solutions for the one-dimensional problem of the Green-Lindsay and the Lord-Shulman theories with two temperatures. First, existence and uniqueness of weakly regular solutions are obtained. Second, we prove the exponential stability in the Green-Lindsay model, but the nonexponential stability for the Lord-Shulman model.
متن کاملNon-classical Metatheory for Non-classical Logics
A number of authors have objected to the application of non-classical logic to problems in philosophy on the basis that these non-classical logics are usually characterised by a classical meta-theory. In many cases the problem amounts to more than just a discrepancy; the very phenomena responsible for non-classicality occur in the field of semantics as much as they do elsewhere. The phenomena o...
متن کاملNon-linear Thermoelasticity, Irreversible Thermodynamics and Elastic Instability
1. Introduction. In the linear range a general theory of thermoelasticity based on irreversible thermodynamics was developed and discussed extensively in some earlier work ([3], [4], [9]). It was assumed that the elastic solid is initially in a stress-free equilibrium state at uniform temperature. Completely linearized perturbations in the vicinity of this equilibrium state are then analyzed as...
